Sick Policy – Cold/Flu, Covid-19

We have had a long-standing policy for years now that if you are feeling ill, or have recently had the flu, we ask that you either change your appointment to a phone appointment or reschedule.

We put this policy in place years ago so we can do our level best to keep not only our staff from becoming ill, but you as well.

The recent outbreak of Covid-19 is a good reminder to us all to take care to wash hands thoroughly, exercise caution and care when you do get sick, and seek medical treatment as soon as possible to stay on top of any illness.

Although the outbreak of Covid-19 is garnering big headlines around the world, it is important to note that we are still in the midst of flu season, and that can also develop into serious illness if precautions are not taken, or medical advice is not followed.

We are taking the outbreak quite seriously – and ensuring that all staff continue their practice of diligently washing hands and decontaminating their work spaces each day.

If you need to move your appointment or convert your appointment to a phone appointment, let us know as soon as you can. We will do our level best to accommodate you and make the process as easy as possible.
