As many of you are aware, our family business has always been founded on long-term relationships and thoughtful transitions. That mindset has guided us through each stage of growth and change over the years, including the one we want to share with you now.
Back in 2014, Jason and I joined my parents as partners in RD’s Tax Strategies, with a plan to help them gradually step into retirement.
In 2019, we assumed full responsibility for the day-to-day operations of RD’s Tax, enabling Bob to concentrate solely on RD’s Financial Strategies. Then, to our surprise, Bob decided to retire entirely in 2021. That launched a search for someone who could carry forward the mantle for RD’s Financial Strategies with the same care and integrity.
That someone was Alex Hayes.
My parents quickly saw in Alex a strong work ethic, deep industry experience, and a shared commitment to clients. It was a great match, and they completed the sale at the end of 2021, officially making RD’s Financial Strategies a fully independent company, no longer affiliated with RD’s Tax Strategies. For the past few years, we’ve worked to ensure a smooth hand off, and we’re proud of how well the transition has gone.
Now, we’re excited to share the final step.
Alex and his team have officially rebranded RD’s Financial Strategies as Curantis Wealth Management. For those of you who’ve been working with Alex, Jake Whitaker, and Craig Stavang, the high level of service remains unchanged, just under a new name and banner.
